Japican's Terminate Amendment Proposal

In a released statement today, Japican leadership officially withdrew a proposed amendment that would have granted Cubnians greater access to education and given them other unspecified rights. This action comes in response to the assassination of the Japican Security Minister earlier today.

As of this post - Cubnian have neither claimed nor denied responsibility for the assassination.

The text of the press release is below.

Given the hostile actions against the Japican authorities by the Cubians, the proposed amendment to provide rights to the Cubnians has hereby been terminated. It is an unfortunate circumstance that this group which once seemed like a worthy ally has turned against us without precedent, although the Japican government accepts this fact and is willing to take actions that will prevent the further attempts of harm towards the nation and its leaders. We are insulted and hurt by this senseless violence that has been directed towards me and my cabinet when we only tried to provide equal rights and stability for our troubled country.

Boreacan Prime Minister Denounces Wessan

(Selassigrad): Boreacan Prime Minister Alexander Isayevich Khomeini released a video today in which he denounces former Reacher Minister Eric Wessan calling Wessan's actions "treasonous."

In the video, Khomeini states that Wessan acted alone in making his threats of Boreacan secession.

Also, Khomeini claims that the Cubnians were responsible for the assassination attempt on Wessan. As reported earlier on TUNA, Cubnian leadership has neither accepted or denied responsibility for the assassination attempt.

Assasination Attempt Thwarted.

Early this morning an assassination attempt was made on the Boreacan political prisoner Eric Wessan. However, Japican security reports that the assassination attempt failed.

BREAKING NEWS: JAPICAN MINISTER ASSASINATED!

(Selassigrad): In a brazen daylight raid the Japican Minister of Security was assassinated this morning outside of Japican headquarters in downtown Selassigrad.

No Group has claimed responsibility for this action.
