Refugees Pour In

(Southern Cuborica): Thousands of Cubnian refugees have been formally accepted by the governments of Bosgovnia, Cupan, and Kosnia. However, sources inside these countries have expressed alarm at the uncertainties of how the influx of refuges will affect these countries resources.

Border Concerns


(Northern Cuborica): Human Rights officials said Tuesday that the closed border between Ricastan and Cuborica has significantly reduced the level of fuel, food, medicine, and other supplies that had previously passed into the area. This has severely affected those living in the disputed area and has contributed to a mass exodus of natives from the region.

Bosgovnia, Ricastan Reach Alliance

After an hour of negotiatians, the countries of Bosgovnia and Ricastan have reached an alliance. Following is the official agreement between the countries:


Alliance between Ricastan and Bosgovnia:
There will be joint control of current military operations. Ricastan will use Bosgovnian guidance with Ricastanian military. The Cubnians in Ricastan will have equal rights with Boreacans; they will be declared citizens, given equal education, and granted full voting rights.
This alliance is effective immediately and stands throughout the duration of the Civil War of Cuborica.

Tape Leaked to TUNA

An unmarked audio tape was delivered to TUNA offices this morning. On the tape the Japican Minister of Security can be heard saying, "I think that the Boreacans are unstable and crazy," "[They are] Politically unfit for an alliance," and, "[the] Boreacans must be eliminated for peace to be instated [sic] in the country."

Japican Government Issues Statement

People of Cuborica, due to recent events we are in a state of crisis and have increased military security within the capital and checkpoints around major cities for your own safety. This is not an attempt to place strict restraints on our citizens, rather to keep them safe. This state of emergency is only temporary, and we look to terminate it as stability returns to our nation. Please do not panic, as a people you are not in danger, and we are not looking to place any undue stress upon you. We appreciate your cooperation.

Boreacans Announce Military Draft

Boreacans Announce Interm President

(Northern Cuborica): Boreacan members of Parliament have been escorted north to Ricastan. According to reports from Ricastan these former members of parliament will serve as leaders of Ricastan until the next elections. The interim president is Aleksander Khomein and the Minister of War is Eric Wessan, who has assumed command of the Boreacan armed forces.

Japican Leadership Send Troops Towards Border


Reports from north Cuborica have indicated that several thousand Cuoborican troops loyal to the Japican government have headed towards the newly defined Ricastan border.

Boreacan Buildup at Border


The Boreacan military massed armored vehicles near its southern border on Tuesday, called up several thousand reserve soldiers and warned residents of north Cuborica to flee, suggesting expanded ground operations may lie ahead.

No Response from the Japicans


Reports from the newly defined border of Ricastan remains unusually quiet in the face of Boreacan secession.

Boreacans Announce Secession!

The National Alliance released an official statement today:


From the National Government of Ricastan:
We the Boreacans in Ricastan especially with the weakening of the current national government would like to form a country that is better suited to the needs of the Boreacans. Our people are arrested and oppressed in Cuborica, and Ricastan will form a haven for Boreacans everywhere. We feel that this is a necessary step towards peace and stability in the region.
